On Christmas Eve.

I wish this holiday season would be extended for a few more days. I’m going to miss the Christmas music and seasonal decorations.

I’m spending Christmas Eve marveling at the tree, eating hong sui (or red bean soup, a popular Cantonese dessert that brings me back to my childhood) and watching Christmas episodes of the Simpsons. My favorite one has always been “Marge Not Be Proud”. I think I just really like the scene where Bart puts a marshmallow in his cocoa and it expands like a sponge. Classic.

PS - Today, I (inadvertently) learned that alt + ctrl + UP arrow makes my computer screen turn sideways. Go ahead. Try it. After freaking out for about a minute, I googled the issue (with much effort and head turning) and found that pressing the same keys would reverse the action. Why would computer designers feel that such a function would be necessary? Who knows.
